📥 How to Download

To begin, navigate to the main repository page to access the latest version of the software. Follow these steps:

1. Visit the official download page.
2. Look for the section marked Releases on the right side of the page.
3. Select the latest release version.
4. Download the compressed file to your local computer.
5. Extract the contents to a folder you can easily locate, like your Desktop or Documents folder.

🚀 Setting Up Norma

Once you extract the folder, open it in your file explorer. Norma uses Docker to create a stable environment for its agents.

• Launch Docker Desktop and wait for it to show that the engine runs.
• Open your command prompt by clicking the Start menu and typing "cmd".
• Change your directory to the folder where you saved Norma by typing cd followed by the folder path.
• Start the agents by entering the command: docker-compose up.
• Wait a few minutes while the system builds the platform from parts like FastAPI and Qdrant.

🧠 Using the Platform

After the setup finishes, the platform runs in your browser. Open your favorite web browser and type http://localhost:8000 into the address bar. You will see the main dashboard.

From here, you can upload documents to build your initial knowledge base. The system uses RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) to read your files. When you ask a question in the chat bar, the agents search your uploaded documents to find accurate answers. You can give your agents specific roles to help you write, code, or summarize meetings.

Sometimes the platform might encounter issues. If you see an error, check these common fixes:

• Ensure Docker Desktop remains open while you use Norma.
• Check that port 8000 is not being used by another application.
• Restart your computer if the agent fails to connect to the memory database.
